Powerball

So you think you can play ball games? Powerball is designed to prove you wrong. Collect the golden chalices by bouncing over them. On the way you have to negotiate a fiendishly constructed maze-background full of meanies, spiky plants and the not-so-occasional missile. Since each chalice earns you more points then the last, the problem naturally gets much harder the further you go.

Move across the screen, left to right, jumping on or over, the various obstacles in your way. It helps if you work out first which are harmless, because those that won't will burst your bubble. Literally.

To increase bounce height, press the fire button. Everything CAN be overcome (Honest!) but the more difficult require precise positioning and exactly the right amount of bounce. To achieve this it may be necessary to bounce the ball off a wall ... or something. Timing is, as always, vital to making a good move.

Keep moving right and pick up the bonuses as they appear. It is all possible, but it will take you time to work out some of the moves. Once you lose there are two choices to continue. Press the fire button to begin again at the beginning. Press DOWN if you wish to continue on from where you left off (all your score deleted).

This allow you to go sightseeing and get much further into the game. Don't say we're not kind to you ever again!
