Thank You! It's been a while since I read a new comment for this game. :)
Thx for the game.
Nice one, are you going to work further on it?
Thanks. It’s completely finished, I won’t touch it anymore. A second part may be considered in the near future. :)
This is a comment about your thumbs for each game. The virtual box looks cool!
This is nice. The graphics are really good and the music is really enjoyable. The animations are my favorite part because they're so smooth
It’s really good to read these, I’d do it a little differently, but I still like it too.
I’m glad you liked it and took some time out of your life. :)
Really good puzzles but it would be nice if the character only moved by an entire block.
Thanks! You are absolutely right, unfortunately the system I made with this (GB Studio) is not suitable for this.
You can set the grid size to 16 pixels rather than 8 pixels in the settings of GB Studio. That should clear that up for you.
Huge thanks. I did not notice this possibility. I’ll fix it right away because that’s really much better that way.
No problem. If you want even more control over the player movement. You can always assign scripts to the d-pad.
In scene ON INIT script. Assign script to UP on D-pad (for example). Put this code in: Player face direction Up. Then Move Relative X,Y-2. (2 because each y coordinate is 8 pixels, 2 coordinates will move the player up 16 pixels). Do the same for each direction and it would have the same outcome as changing the grid size to 16 pixels.
While it is more work doing it this way, it has the benefit of loads more control over what is happening. You could set the player sprite to be whatever you want when they walk up or down or left or right - so you wouldnt be limited to 2 animation frames for the player characters walk cycle, for example!
Its amazing that you put it in an actual game boy format!
Amazing Game I like It
Is there a way to restart levels without restarting the whole game? Really good game by the way I like it (just haven't finished yet because restarting is taking a long time lol)
Thanks! If you press start (or enter in a browser) a menu will appear and you can restart the level there.
Ah, nice! It might be good to put that in the browser controls description :) Also I finished the game, 10/10 I like it a lot and it took me 185 pushes
Really fun game! Enjoyed it very much. There are some well designed logic puzzles here.
Very cute and the graphics are quite nice
