This is a homebrew game, run on Gameboy Color. Original version:  John Marshall . Tansoft - Tangerine Oric-1/Oric Atmos, 1983. Created with GB-Studio 2.0.0 beta5!

Also available for download in .CIA format for the Nintendo 3DS virtual console!

In the sewers the rats have been multiplying for years and so a rat cull has been organised. You have been chosen to carry out this gruesome task. You will have to kill the rats by hitting them with your "ACME Patent Rat Killing Hammer". You will only be able to hit a rat when it is directly beneath the hammer, so fast reactions are essential. Unfortunately in the sewers lives an aggressive monster which has sentimental feelings towards the rats and will get very angry if you hurt his furry friends. By pressing a key you can swap the hammer for an aerosol can, this will allow you to kill the monster. The cheese is used as bait to attract the rats and must be protected. If you kill a rat when it has begun eating some cheese then the cheese will be saved. Your aim is to kill 16 rats but if you take too long the smell of the cheese will overpower you . You will die if you are touched by the monster, overpowered by the smell or if all cheese is eaten.
Good luck!

No real rats have been harmed during the production of this game!

:) Oh my! Indeed. This should have been written out, but already in the 1983 version.
