Thanks! Yes, since there is no other way with the GB studio to get the projectile to stop in the wall, I have to code if there is a wall in front of each shot and expose an invisible object that gets stuck in it. This, in turn, unfortunately slows down the process.
Well done ! the most we like about this port game, is to be more difficult than other early port 8 bits computer and consoles versions even the original arcade.
There seems to be a bug - in the first stage - The Arena. Once I killed all Burwors, and the Garwords appeared, I killed the first, and once the 2nd one appeared, it seemed to run over one of the doors that warp you to the either side of the map, and disappeared to never appear again...and the game just stuck there...
Thank you very much for your comment, unfortunately this is not due to the programming, but GB-Studio as a platform does not work well many times. I can't fix this. :( I'm glad you wrote it, thanks!
I also looked at the Atari version but maybe we deserved the c64 better. In the next game, which will be my own development, I'll put in a little Icicle Works. ;)

This is otherwise a pretty good port, but the delay on shooting is very very slow; almost a half-second! It definitely hampers playability a bit.
I just noticed the "created with GB Studio" banner on the package so maybe I was a bit too harsh :p

I’m glad you like it, so it’s worth working on.
